Long Lens Day 2: January 2021

My first day with the rented long lens and mirrorless camera was very cloudy and dark so it was a pleasure to visit Col Sam Smith Park today in sunlight.

With every photo I learn something about the camera and lens. Fortunately there are you tube videos which answer many questions.

Another beautiful session, Miles. What’s the total weight of camera & lens? And are you stick with Sony here? Researching… Thanks!

The pictures are so sharp! The details of the European Starling are amazing. Beautiful job, Miles!
P.S. I heard my first Male Cardinal song yesterday morning (before the snow fall). I did not remember they would start singing in late January.

Wow–simply wonderful! Such crisp, clear, close-up detail! It’s obvious why wildlife photographers use this. I just know you’re going to be investing in one!
    Thanks, Miles!

    Love these photos.
Bright, beautiful and detailed. I love my Sony mirror less camera I’ve had for about 6 years, one of the originals. Still don’t know how to use it but doing my best.
Do you take 2 cameras with you when you go out?
