Sugar Maple has come a long way this year from this:
Enjoy it because soon it will be:
I was able to photograph this little beauty:
Bird species list: belted kingfisher, hairy woodpecker, downy woodpecker, blue jay, black-capped chickadee, red-breasted nuthatch, American robin, northern cardinal, American goldfinch, song sparrow. (10 species)
Here and yonder, high and low, Goldenrod and sunflowers glow. – Robert Kelley Weeks (1840–76)
Thank you so much for this. I LOVE those wonderful sugar maple colours in fall!
The fall colours of a sugar maple are hard to beat, but it is very comforting to watch the life cycle and the hope of renewal that it provides. Thank you for the time-lapse View!
