This windy, overcast and 3 degree morning featured many species of water birds.

Species list:  red-necked grebe, mute swan, Canada goose, mallard, gadwall, American wigeon, bufflehead, common goldeneye, white-winged scoter, long-tailed duck, hooded merganser, red-breasted merganser, common merganser, ring-billed gull, belted kingfisher, black-capped chickadee, house sparrow, northern cardinal, American goldfinch, dark-eyed junco, American tree sparrow.  (21 species)
