Wilket Creek: February 2021

It was lovely to see this area covered with a fesh blanket of snow.

Cross Country ski tracks

I got very close to the creek to take this photo:

I then decided to see if the ice would take my weight so that I could take a photo from the centre of the creek.

Foolish as it turned out!

White Pine does not have a pyramidical silhouette:

In Norway Spruce, the foliage hangs down from individual branches:
