Taylor Creek Park has several ponds.

It is possible to find many creatures here including these Green Frogs which I photographed last August.

Someone is concerned about pieces of this life being removed and painted this sign on the sidewalk in front of a pond:

MYSTERY PLANT
I will identify it at the end of the post.

Some botany:

MYSTERY PLANT
The cones of White Cedar.

NATURE POETRY
The Sound of Trees – Robert Frost
Some day when they are in voice
And tossing so as to scare
The white clouds over them on.
I shall have less to say,
But I shall be gone.
Miles Hearn
I love Taylor Creek Park. And I certainly agree with that statement! I know that people take frogs out of that pond. Leave them for the Herons! (A touch of wry humor, there.) Seriously, though–nobody should take anything out of the park, unless they are officially authorized to do so for reasons of science or park maintenance. Beautiful pictures. Thanks, Miles!
