Snowy Walk at the Island: Jan. 25, 2023

When I first started leading these walks seventeen years ago, there was an older lady in the group who actually seemed to prefer the more extreme weather days. “The rainier – the better” she once told me. Over the years, she has become unable to get outside but still writes to me on snowy, rainy, windy or much below zero occasions.

She will enjoy today’s post.

A gentleman opened the doors of the St. Andrew’s by-the-Lake Anglican Church for us. He told us that the building was moved to this location from Hanlan’s Point.

What a perfect little church and how beautifully its door is framed by the two cedars!
What hardy, hearty souls you have on your walks!
