Red-tailed Hawks can be found all over North American, Mexico and the Caribbean in summer and remain in Southern Ontario during winter. We had several fly overhead today.

Figures that not being able to get to this one, I would be shown a Wayfaring Tree (inside joke, folks–it was something I memorized with so many repetitions to myself that my identifying it is a standing joke on walks) but I am wondering again about the absence of the Trumpeter Swans, and guessing that I already heard they learned to migrate…which is wonderful, if that is so!
I’m certainly looking forward to getting to the Bluffs on another day!
