The mouth of the Rouge River at the eastern end of Lawrence Avenue East is a reliable spot to find Osprey soaring high in the sky. I visited it this morning:
Many swarms of wild bees descended on our fields:
Stately stood the wheatstalk with head bent high:
Big of heart we laboured at storing mighty yields,
Wool and corn, and clusters to make men cry! – George Meredith (1828–1909)
stunning photography,Miles, the markings on the osprey are gorgeous, wonderful to see.
thank you so much….
