I haven’t been to Rouge Hills for a while so decided to hike several of the trails there and see what birds I might be able to photograph. I wasn’t having much success so stood by a pond to photograph turtles.
Suddenly an Osprey appeared and I was able to take some photos:
The wingspan of an Osprey is about six foot which is about a foot less than the eagles.
Here are some photos from Manitoulin Island:
Other birds at Rouge Hills:
“I think he’ll be to Rome as is the osprey to the fish, who takes it by sovereignty of nature.”
― William Shakespeare, Coriolanus
Again, enjoyed the pics, especially the sequence with the Osprey and the fish. Thanks.
