After a week with the long, rented lens, I headed out into a snowy urban woodland in -10 temperature with my usual camera.
Moccasin Trail Park lies just west of the Don Valley Parkway south of Lawrence:
After a week of visiting places where I knew that there would be much wildlife, there were no birds here and not even a squirrel.
When I see birches bend to left and right
Across the lines of straighter darker trees,
I like to think some boy’s been swinging them.
But swinging doesn’t bend them down to stay. – Robert Frost
I believe I may know this beautiful place–wonderful botany detail! Works of art, both botany detail and pictures. Thanks, Miles!
