Birdfeeders at Serena Gundy Park: December 2020

If you want to have a close look at many bird species, the feeders by the parking lot at Serena Gundy (Eglinton Ave. East at Leslie) are for you.

Black Squirrels

As you can see however, there are serious competitors to the birds:

Black Squirrel
Black Squirrel with skunk-like tail
Gray Squirrel
Red Squirrel

Every time a squirrel climbed onto the main feeder, I chased it away. Though this is mostly futile, it did enable me to get some photos:

Red-breasted Nuthatch

Thank you kindly. Serena Gundy is located in near my back yard deep in my heart 💜 and senses. Lovely pictures, particularly the birds suspended in flight . Happy new year.
