Car smash-up \ Scarborough Bluffs, May 5, 2016

I’m fine, but this has not been my year! After a major ship fire and abandon ship in November, I was seriously rear ended by a Ford Blazer whose driver was fleeing police on my way home this morning. As you can see from this photo the car will not recover.

    Hello Miles,

So sorry to hear about you terrible accident. Glad you seem to be okay but it must have been quite an impact.

I was planning to come on the High Park walk tomorrow but just checking that you will be able to make it. I suspect you will be, as you did not mention that you had to cancel.

    all the best, Cathy Leask

    Miles,

So glad that you are okay. Wow, that’s quite a crunch. You must be quite shaken up.

Would you mind if I joined you on a Friday morning? I wasn’t able to sign up this spring and do miss the walks.

    Keep well, Marilyn

Miles – So sorry you were involved in this freak accident. I trust you have already had much advice on getting checked for whiplash, but I would endorse that. (I’m having chiro treatment at the moment, and this is a hot topic!). Lovely to see reports and pictures – many reminders of our wonderful birding trips with you. I’m off to the Sandwich bird observatory in East Kent today, with a birding friend, to see what’s about. One certainty is fish and chips and a beer after!
    Best regards
    Graham
