American Wigeons at Humber Bay: Oct. 1, 2022

American Wigeons spend the summer on their breeding grounds which are mostly far northwest of us and their winters in the western southern states and into Mexico, Central America and northern South America. We see them in migration though some are occasionally seen here in winter.

Both groups had a good look at wigeons today at Humber Bay.
