100 Ontario Small Town Churches

I have always been interested in church buildings and have been organist / choir director / music director in Unitarian, Presbyterian, United and Christian Science Churches.

Very often the church is the most interesting looking building in a small community. Many of the following are still used as churches and some are now private dwellings.

Church buildings are fascinating, I love the ones I used to see in small towns. In Toronto, I have always been impressed by the beauty of the older ones made of limestone, many with statues and masonry decoration. Walking in the city, I have always admired them. Thanks, Miles!

This is a fascinating collection of churches, Miles. It’s poignant to see how many are now repurposed. Thank you!!!
