No hugs, no handshakes, no meals in restaurants, no concerts, no theatre, no sporting events, for the children – no school and on and on.
And no CNE. The “Ex” is postponed. I have a great fondness for the CNE and have probably attended every year since my birth. Starting at the tender age of 13, I began working there as a musician — some of it so long ago that I was in orchestras accompanying Vera Lynn and the Jackson 5 back when Michael Jackson was about 9 years old.
As we near the usual CNE time of year, I visited the grounds and here are some images of it. No crowds, no candy floss, no rides, no, no, no.
