NATURE POETRY

Deep in the greens of summer sing the lives
I’ve come to love. A vireo whets its bill.
The great day balances upon the leaves;
My ears can hear the bird when all is still.     – Theodore Roethke (1908–63)

    I am enjoying your posts very much! It takes me a while to memorize them but it is fun! I scroll thru slowly and stop just before the Id shows up and get pretty exited when I get it right!!! Some are so much harder for me . I never realized that there were so many white flowers that look so much alike!!! These are giving me a bit of trouble.
