Were the ducks walking on water at Ashbridge’s Bay ? March 3, 2020

Through a blend of ice, melting ice and rain water, the bay gave the impression that the waterfowl were walking on the water-covered surface.

It also led to some comical slipping and sliding.

Species list: trumpeter swan, mute swan, Canada goose, mallard, American black duck, gadwall, common goldeneye, bufflehead, long-tailed duck, ring-billed gull, black-capped chickadee, brown creeper.  (12 species)
