NATURE POETRY
A fox the colour of cinnamon whirled into my ken
I thought we might become buddies.
The fox said now and then.
Then he turned with a swish
I did not get my wish.
He decided he would stay with his old friends.
Now I am at loose ends. – Adele Koehnke
