When I began these walks in 2006, Mockingbirds were commonly seen at Humber Bay amongst the Sea-buckthorn bushes. In the last five years or so they seem to have lost their taste for the orange fruit of this shrub and I see them infrequently here. Today we had a good view of a close-up bird:







Species list: red-necked grebe, mute swan, Canada goose, mallard, American black duck, gadwall, bufflehead, long-tailed duck, hooded merganser, ring-billed gull, American robin, house sparrow, northern cardinal, American goldfinch, song sparrow. (15 species)
