A 19th century village street has been created on the grounds.

There is also an ancient Church of Ireland:

and a manor house.

Certain tree species from Northern Europe and Ireland have been brought to Canada over the years. I enjoyed seeing them growing in their native habitats.

Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum)

European Beech (Fagus sylvatica)

European Beech (Fagus sylvatica)

Beech is very common in Ireland and many hedges are made of it.

Scotch Pine (Pinus sylvestris)

Sycamore Maple (Acer pseudoplatanus)

Here are a few of the birds:

Magpie

Jackdaw

Robin
