     GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET CLOSE-UP

I found this little guy very close to my home this morning:

It probably had flown into a window and was stunned with one eye closed.

I put it into a shoe box and drove to meet Liz for our walk. She held it in her hands for the entire drive and started to feel it coming back to life.

At Sunnybrook, upon feeling fresh air, it flew out of a tiny hole in the box and sped to the woods.
