Species list: Canada goose, mute swan, mallard, American black duck, gadwall, bufflehead, long-tailed duck, hooded merganser, red-breasted merganser, red-necked grebe, rock pigeon, ring-billed & herring gulls, downy woodpecker, black-capped chickadee, American tree and white-throated sparrows, northern cardinal, American goldfinch. (19 species)

High Park south Saturday November 19

Bird Highlight: Black-crowned Night-heron juvenile

Plant Highlight: Gray, silky, and red-osier dogwood

Species list: Wood duck, mallard, mallard x black duck hybrid, Red-tailed hawk, ring-billed & herring gulls, kingfisher, hairy woodpecker, black-capped chickadee, American robin, European starling, house sparrow, northern cardinal, American goldfinch. (13 species)

6-7 degrees, sunny, clouding over

Bird Highlight: Red-bellied woodpecker, amidst flocks of 30+ each of robin, waxwing, starling, plus hairies, downies, creeper, cardinals, white-throats, house finches and goldfinches in one spot.
