One of our walkers saw a deer in the subdivision very near our starting point.
Species list: great blue heron, Canada goose, mallard, American black duck, red-breasted merganser, killdeer, ring-billed gull, rock pigeon, hairy woodpecker, downy woodpecker, blue jay, black-capped chickadee, American robin, eastern bluebird, golden-crowned kinglet, ruby-crowned kinglet, European starling, house sparrow, northern cardinal, dark-eyed junco, American tree sparrow.
