House Sparrows are a particular favourite of the bird-eating Cooper’s Hawk and if there are many sparrows, a Cooper’s Hawk will be keeping an eye on them.

NATURE POETRY

To labor with zest, and to give of your best,
For the sweetness and joy of the giving;
To help folks along with a hand and a song;
Why, there’s the real sunshine of living.        – Robert W. Service (1874–1958)
