This lovely fern is green at Christmas. Its lustrous rich-green tapering leaves, spiny-toothed, holly-like leaflets and evergreen leaves make it a popular Christmas time decoration.
I don’t see it often in the Toronto area but the Sunnybrook forest has many small colonies.
