The south western area of Bluffers Park had been closed for several years as the shoreline was being reinforced. I was delighted to see this morning that it is now open and there are many magnificent vistas to be seen.
A little fancy footwork or removing your shoes can get you easily to the western beach.
During my entire visit, I could hear and see a multitude of Bank Swallows overhead,
These birds nest in colonies all along the bluffs:
They pause in their insect-searching flights in one area and it is an amazing sight:
