Late April and May are always the best months to see colourful migrant birds.
We had many birds today, but these two species stood out:
Cedar Waxwing
Pine Warbler
Of all of the warblers species, only Yellow Warbler and Pine Warbler nest in our area. Identification for Pine Warbler: no other bright, yellow-breasted warbler lacking other conspicuous field marks has white wing bars.
