I find it amazing that a three and a half foot tall animal which can weigh up to 400 pounds can survive in a busy urban area like Toronto. And yet, they not only survive, they thrive. I have seen many on our street and even one in the backyard.
The wooded area near the Guild Inn is a good place to see them and the afternoon group saw one today.
