Because of the number and variety of waterfowl by the Unwin Ave. bridge, I stopped there this morning en route to Ashbridge’s Bay.
As usual, there were dozens of swans.
I also saw two Greater Black-backed Gulls. A Ring-billed Gull measures about 19 inches while the Greater Black-backed can be more than 30 inches.
In addition, I found an American Coot and a Rusty Blackbird.
