There is lots of new snow at Lambton Woods which led to a very snowy walk this morning.
We regularly find Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers on our walks with the occasional Red-bellied and infrequent Pileated.
This morning, we had all four.
Downy Woodpecker: 6.5 inches
Hairy Woodpecker: 9.5 inches
Red-bellied Woodpecker: 9 – 10.5 inches
Pileated Woodpecker: 16 – 19.5 inches
