In our area, on January 22, twilight begins at 7:11:57 am and sunrise is at 7:41:34 am. Sunrise is now about 5 minutes earlier than it was on December 21 – the shortest day of the year.
I was at Humber Bay well ahead of our 8 am walk and took these photos:
There are a great many Oriental Bittersweet vines at Humber Bay.
The supply of orange berries enables several mockingbirds to winter here. I photographed one this morning.
Sumac fruit is another abundant food source.
