As the days become shorter and daylight savings time has not yet arrived, the 8 am Saturday group began today at dawn at Col. Sam Smith Park.
8 am group:
Shortly after beginning, we noticed a swimming beaver.
This led us to following it as it travelled west along the Lake Ontario coast, did a u turn at the end of the peninsula and headed east to the beaver lodge:
The 11:30 group had an excellent, close look at a female Cardinal:
