I got a wonderful birthday present from someone who knows me well.
I immediately hung it up and put some seed inside. Chickadees were quick to find it and land on the little porch. But then another backyard visitor not only found it but regularly enters and walks around inside. Here are some photos of our female Downy Woodpecker.
