I was last here in May of 2020. At the time, all parks were closed for Covid reasons and I parked far away and walked in. It was exciting to find a Pine Warbler at that time:
It was too early in the season for warblers on this day but I did have my first Golden-crowned Kinglet of the season:
A few Good Samaritans bring feed for the birds here and this enabled me to get many photos:

On telling a friend that I was considering visiting Darlington Provincial Park, I got this e-mail : Isn’t that at Darlington as well? (The nuclear power station) And why, I ask, would the powers that be make an area where there IS one (if there is) a Provincial Park??!! Doesn’t that strike you as skating on thin ice? Being right on the thin edge of the wedge? Were the birds you photographed all fluorescent? Was the little woody stream valley giving off shimmering energy? Was the water at the beach a sparkling greenish-yellow? Brrr.

Ahhhh, yes. What a beautiful place. What fantastic pictures of so many gorgeous birds! And wonderful botany! And– the Wayfaring Tree!
