#1 on last winter’s Ontario list is the Black-capped Chickadee:
The Black-capped Chickadee is common on winter lists in all regions of Canada.
it is #1 on the Atlantic Canada list, #1 on the Quebec list, #1 on the Prairies list and #6 on the British Columbia list.
During this dark, lightly raining morning at Col Danforth Park, one Chickadee was the only bird I encountered.
