Usually I see Great Blue Herons at some distance standing in majestic settings and without any movement.
So it was a surprise to find one standing in a parking lot puddle:
It allowed me to take 3 photographs before winging away.
Other birds:
I have visited the eastern part of Humber Bay many times and in all seasons of the year.
Today I visited the western part which has many fine vistas but fewer varied habitats to attract birds.
