I was brought to a performance at the Shaw Festival when I was a child and have rarely missed a summer visit to Niagara-on-the-lake since.
These Covid 19 days, the town is discouraging visitors by putting no parking signs everywhere.

Spring arrives earlier here.
It’s not just the plants which are ahead of Toronto in springlike display. I heard and eventually spotted my first Baltimore Oriole of the spring. This bird’s rich, whistling song is only heard in our area for about 6 weeks so I especially love to hear it.
