I have spent many hours over several days on the Beaver River Wetlands Trail and have yet to encounter another human being. There are many Grackles however:

Shallow Things to Consider©

There are things to consider as the world reels in crisis
Oh, the frivolous things which beguile and entice us
No trips to Tim Hortons – No restaurant meal
No shopping at will – whenever we feel
And have you considered – as we’re home day by day
Our roots are still growing – revealing the gray
Our nails too will grow – no salon nails to show
We’ll start biting our nails – as the ugly stubs grow
There’s no bedding plants – cos the stores are all closed
No petunias, impatiens – no vines and no rose
So I’m just planting seeds – like it’s something unknown
Before we got spoiled, planting flowers full-grown
I found some yeast too – so I’m now baking bread
Kneading ten minutes – like my grandmother did
If the virus goes on – Things may just get vile
I’ll have to mend, iron and sort old paper piles
