Bull Thistle can grow to 2 metres high.
The flower is often almost circular in appearance.
Bull Thistle has a wide variety of habitats from fields, shores, ditches, vacant lots, dumps and other disturbed sites to clearings and trails.
It is a native of Eurasia and was first seen in this area in the 1830’s.
This is definitely not a plant to touch unless you are wearing gloves.
